FAQ
To intercept ⌘ Tab before macOS handles it, DualLane needs Accessibility access — this is a macOS requirement for any app that works with global keyboard shortcuts or replaces system behavior.
On first launch, you'll be guided to System Settings → Privacy & Security → Accessibility. Toggle DualLane on, and you're good to go. The app never reads screen content, keystrokes, or any personal data.
DualLane is fully notarized by Apple, which means it's been scanned and approved by Apple's security process. The app works completely offline — no analytics, no telemetry, no network requests of any kind. Your app usage stays on your machine.
DualLane requires macOS Ventura 13.0 or later. It works on both Intel and Apple Silicon Macs.
While the HUD is open, hover over any app and press S to move it to your primary lane. Do the same to move it back. Your configuration is saved automatically — it persists across restarts.
Yes. The HUD always appears on the display where your cursor currently is, so it never shows up on the wrong screen.
DualLane is free to download and use with no time limits or feature gates. If you find it useful, a coffee is always appreciated — but never required.
No App Store, no subscription. Just a notarized .dmg — download, open, and go.
